Welcome to nzone TV’s weekly summer column about tv appearing on the internet. We hope you enjoy it. We also hope we actually write it.

THAT’S GOING TO LEAVE A MARK - AND SCORE ABOUT 100,000 VIEWS…

This week we have to start with an incident that has the net buzzing. Sunday on the Tony Awards, Brett Michaels of VH1’s Rock of Love was returning to his Poision roots performing with the cast of Rock of Ages. When his song ended, he took a few steps backwards, and then turned to be nailed in the face by falling stage scenery. For real, it looked like the guy was down for the count. The weirdest part was how quickly the show went on - cutting as planned, we assume, to Stockard Channing singing Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered. Apparently Michaels broke his nose and “busted’ his lip, according to news reports the next day. A youtube poster put it that the rocker got “clotheslined”. To us, it almost looked like he was guillotined:

CLOSER ENCOUNTER

We took the TNT.tv “What character are you?” quiz for The Closer, and it turns out we’re Brenda- professional life: on top of it. Everything else: not so much. What? We think we need to take the test again. Anyone who knows us knows we’re not on top of our professional life! THE CLOSER on tnt.tv - we remembered this just now - has some program you have to load to watch it, and if you do, it may make other of your files unwatchable! What the heck is that. They dont do that on hulu. We’ll stick to watching it on time instead of online. Or, if worst comes to worst, we’ll unbox it on Amazon. We will watch it though, that’s for sure.

NO ‘LAW’ REVIEW

Speaking of cop shows on TV, we were just recalling the other day that no versions of Law & Order isnt available online because it’s Dick Wolf- and he can do whatever he wants! He could probably by NBC, but apparently, he’s not giving us the milk when he isn’t getting paid for leasing the cow out to the network website. What? We wanted to catch up with Criminal Intent on the USANetwork site and all we could get was a two minute recap…which was actually about 3 minutes, so thanks for that extra minute Dick. Anyhow, it was enough to convince us we didn’t really want to see the whole episode anyhow.

HULU HIT LIST
Also, we’re considering what shows to catch up on this summer online. We heard 24 this season was outstanding. We’re not sure we’re brave enough to return to Rescue Me. Maybe it’s time to see how Conan’s doing on The Tonight Show. One thing we won’t be watching, Family Guy. We just don’t get it!
